Are you feeling the inner call to coach others? Let's talk about what this means. You may have a bigger impact than you think.

In masterful coaching, we aren’t here to call people out. We are here to call them in. As we call them in, we call them up. This is coaching to integration. What is within is much greater than what is without.*
Science has been discovering the powers of what is within for decades. The HeartMath Institute is carrying forward a lot of this research independently. Even more mainstream organizations, like the National Library of Health, capture some of the well-documented research on near-death experiences and how consciousness lives beyond brain / body. (**references provided at the end)
Yet, ancient traditions have known of our inner technologies centuries ago. Egyptians, when they conducted mummification, would remove all of the organs. However, they would leave the heart because it was believed to be the center of all knowledge. Even the Bible clearly outlines that human beings were “created in the image of God” – Genesis 1:27. And, WOW, do we create!
We are the only species that creates massive amounts of just about everything we can get our hands on. Astrophysics, philosophy, chess, mathematics, rockets, cell phones, artificial intelligence, stamps, teddy bears, music videos, and garbage patches larger than Texas (to name a few of millions of creations).
We are creation-making beings. Is this a coincidence? Or is there more to us than we ever could imagine? One of my favorite Shakespeare quotes is found in Hamlet from the 1600s. “There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”
What can all of this teach us about personal coaching?
As coaches, we learn how to call people into deeper parts of themselves – the place where all of the virtues exist - and as people learn that what is embedded within their hearts is pretty miraculous, we get the honor of witnessing the most monumental transformations. Transformations that are sustainable and self-generated. No other profession, approach, or philosophy that I’ve seen has accomplished this.
There are two journeys to our potential. On the first journey, we can be shown the way. The second journey is an inside job. No one can provide someone else with their empowerment. But coaches are trained and mentored to support the power of unfolding.
