What is the Concentration experience like?

"I highly recommend taking a concentration to other coaches looking to hone in on a specific skill or demographic. It elevated my understanding in my area of specialty (coaching teens/young adults) by validating and strengthening my knowledge about adolescent psychology and why coaching is such an important tool for this stage of life.
It allowed me to dig deeper into an area of study I have always been interested and passionate in. I was able to apply what I learned in my coaching, as well as my current profession as a secondary educator. My Concentration Supervisor was very supportive and encouraging. I appreciated her incredible flexibility, coaching, and direction during the process.
I also liked the format of a self-guided study, where I chose what I would read, watch, write, research, etc., and then putting everything together as a presentation (also of my choosing!). When my Supervisor and I debriefed, she pointed out that the presentation could also double as a marketing tool (editing it down a bit, of course!).
It was a great experience overall, and I am really glad that I did it. I got so much out of it and I am eager to begin my transition to coaching full time." - Angela
